Where we are
We are located in a small holiday resort called Korfos, between Corinth canal and Epidavros not too far from Athens airport (1,5 hr drive). Most of the locals’ professions are in some way related to the sea – fishermen, retired naval officers, and taverna owners, of course 🙂
Recently, Korfos has enjoyed a tourism boom. More people are coming to this relatively remote place every year. It’s magical bay with long beaches is surrounded by rich-green pine woods, which climb the steep slopes of the nearby mountains. Here and there you can see the jagged rocks. You will find plenty of suitable climbing and diving spots here, some geocashing or sightseeing routes and we have even discovered a long-submerged cave.
Whether you’ve lost your heart to yachting or you prefer beach recreation, you’re searching for the perfect active vacation or more leisurely sightseeing, you will become not only a part of our crew, but also of our family for the duration of your stay, and we hope you will fall in love with the paradise bay just of Korfos just as we did, and return year after year.
Who we are
Our sailor friends say that we are one pretty crazy family – however, we consider ourselves a small family business which somehow come into existence after I brought one old yacht from Amsterdam to Greece and discovered a bunch of enthusiastic sailors gathered around it, who are capable of almost anything, same as we are 🙂
Since then our little fleet has grown, as has our family. We now have five boats; we gained a few hundred miles and one little sailor. We spent three years sailing and teaching yachting in Glasgow, where we still offer RYA courses organised by our partner Scottish school. In autumn 2016, we finally fulfilled our dream to move permanently to Greece, which we fell in love with at first sight.
Since spring 2018 we have been organizing sailing trips both locally and further afield (the Lipari Islands in Italy, Istanbul, Crete…), but we are at home here in Korfos bay, nestled between Corinth and Epidavros.
